5th Text+ Community Plenary 2026 in Mannheim

As a consortium of the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI), Text+ aims to preserve language- and text-based research data over the long term and enable its use in science. Every year, Text+ organises a plenary meeting. It is aimed at all consortium members, associates and the entire community working with text and other language data. We also cordially invite representatives of other NFDI consortia and interested parties from within and outside the NFDI to participate.
The upcoming 5th Plenary, which will take place on 15 and 16 June 2026 at Mannheim Palace (Schloss Mannheim), will be dedicated to the conclusion of the first funding phase; key results, developments and experiences from the four task areas Collections, Editions, Lexical Resources and Infrastructure/Operations will be presented, among other things. The event language will be German.

Call for Posters
A poster session is planned for the first day of the event, 15 June 2026. Posters on topics with cross-task-area and consortium relevance that connect several Text+ domains or highlight joint developments, methods, infrastructures, applications (also with other NFDI consortia) or use cases will be presented. The aim is to highlight synergies within Text+ and beyond in the NFDI context and to promote interdisciplinary dialogue.
Interested parties with a thematically relevant contribution are invited to submit a proposal by 15 April 2026.
Further information on the poster session and the submission process can be found here (in German language).
