Blog and Hypotheses

Four colored bars labeled Collections, Lexikalische Ressourcen, Editionen, and Infrastruktur/Betrieb, with the word Blog arranged vertically on the right.

The Text+ Blog provides insights into the consortium’s ongoing activities. The blog is hosted on de.hypotheses, the German-language branch of the non-commercial international Hypothèses platform for scholarly blogging in the humanities, cultural studies, and social sciences. The German-language portal is provided by OpenEdition in collaboration with the Max Weber Foundation. Key services offered by de.hypotheses include setting up and hosting blogs based on WordPress, assigning DOIs to blog posts, applying for an ISSN for blogs and including them in the Hypotheses catalog, and providing consulting and training for bloggers through its own Community Management. OpenEdition is constantly expanding its range of plugins and in-house developments. On the Text+ blog, you can learn about the various partners in the consortium and their text- and language-based resources, the collaborative projects supported by Text+, and current events and developments within Text+. The blog is open to everyone in the community. The blog editorial team oversees all posts in terms of both content and technical aspects.
